Solitude, though it may be silent as light, is like light, the mightiest of agencies; for solitude is essential to man. All men come into this world alone and leave it alone. Thomas de Quincey (1785-1859) British author and intellectual.

hello! haha i totally agree with you; it's just so weird and lousy. btw hope to see you around in school more often! and you looked really pretty in the dress you wore the other day =)
ReplyDeletehaha. thank you! what dress was I wearing? I am going to wear it everyday now. =D Kidding kidding.
ReplyDeleteWhat mods are u taking? Are you having lunch with any of our OG members any day this sem?
haha it was a dark coloured (navy blue?) strappy dress =D i'm taking two philo, two ps and the lit exposure modules. what about you! actually they did mention they had a common break on wednesday afternoons which i also share but i'm not sure what's happening haha.
ReplyDeletei think the common break is 12-2pm on wednesday which i am having the most important lecture- deviance. he never upload any lecture notes. ='c wow, you really can do philo, cus a lot of people say it's difficult.
ReplyDeleteis deviance under soci? it sounds interesting! but not uploading lecture notes is quite mean of them right =/ philo can be pretty hard, but it's also very fascinating haha, which kinda makes up for it i think. what other modules are you taking this sem?
ReplyDeleteya. devaince is under soci. but the bidding point is quite high for this sem. not uploading the lecture note is an effective way to make people go lecture. i taking mtds of social research, environment and society, history of sci and linguistic this sem too.
ReplyDeletewow omg it sounds like a really heavy combination! but also very interesting because the coverage is so broad and varied =) looks like you're all set to major in soci!
ReplyDeletethe soci mods are quite heavy but history of sci is fine. not a bad mod for GEM/Breath I think. =D
ReplyDeleteahh it does sound like a good option, maybe i'll take that one to clear breadth =D
